Default 5 lug conversions

is there any benefit for having 5lugs besides being able to fit ITR rims on?

if you get it complete, there are many benefits like master cylinder, the springs/struts, bigger brakes, lca's, calipers, thicker rotors, and other benefits.

You'll find that most people do the conversion for the "bling" and some do it for the brakes (although it's perfectly possible to upgrade the brakes while keeping the 4-lug setup). You might also find some individuals who argue the "5-lug is stronger and distributes forces better" point, but I've yet to hear of someone losing a wheel because their 4 lugs snapped off.
