Default is this 1/8th e.t. alright

i tried uploadin the pix of the timeslip but couldn't so i typed them out:
left right
t734(old chevy truck) ........ 8494 (92 lude Si)
r/t .... .629 ........ 1.401
60'.... 2.062 ........ 2.404
330... 5.795 ........ 6.419
1/8th. 8.908 ........ 9.623
mph.. 78.39 ......... 77.32

(mods at the time where a custom cold air intake. magnaflo exhuast. bypassed cold start valve. 60 shot of nos. lowered front tire psi to 22. raised rear psi to 40. tires are nitto nt-450 205-55-15. chrome stock rims.)

are these times o.k. or can i do better? and what is the deal with the trap speed? why is it that we are only 1mph apart? how can i improve my 60' times? and I launched at around 3500 to 4000 rpm. so wat do u guys think.

times arent bad. probably low 14's run 1/4 et. 60fts are kinda shitty.. if u got those 2.4's down to 2.2's u would be hitting 13's for sure.

try lauching a little lower and not dumping the clutch and going WOT right away. i know the nitto 450 arent the better tires, but they arent bad. u might wanna try 555R's or BFG drag radials.

Yeah try taking off at the last yellow light,
you'll bring your reaction times and
your 60ft times down

hey would you kno why the trap speed is almost identical? shouldn't there be a greater margin of difference between them? or that does not hav to do w/ anything? thanks downey for the advice. ur right i did drop the clutch and floored the pedal. hopefully i can improve the 60' times next time i go. anymore advice anyone, thanks.

hey SKDRCR,

it dont matter which light you take off on..it wont make the 60ft any better..

why dont people know that the time dont start until you move and break the light?, THE TIME DONT START WHEN LIGHT TURNS GREEN!!

morons...the light can turn green, you can sit there for 5 minutes, and then launch, and still get 9.6....it only start when you move..

Yeah, reaction time has nothing to do with et's or mph. Your launch is something to be worked on.. you should be able to get 2.3/high 2.2's w/o the nitrous. And the reason the MPH are so close together even though his time is much faster is because he holeshotted the crap out of you (meaning he just left you at the light, had a much better 60'), but you guys are close to the same in power, so you still crossed the line at around the same MPH. When talking about ET's, the MPH is the measure of power, not the ET. The ET just shows how well (or crappy) you can drive your car. The MPH is the important part.

i did not kno that the MPH measured the cars power, i guess my feelings that the 60' times sucked *** was correct. so with nitrous i should get better than 2.2 (60') huh? so prelude styl or anyone else wat do u recommend 4 me to get better times? or is it just about practice and gettin some drag radials(cause of the nos power increase)? how do you guys do it to get good 60' times? thanx in advance.
