How To: Fix dents on my roof
I wasnt sure where to post this but....I have 3 fatty dents, or dips, on my roof. I got the car like that, it looks like someone was standing on the roof...any body people here have any tips?
ahhhh, I got a good one for you. Just did this on a friend's car we painted (blackb18c on this board and I).
The roof is seam sealed to the supports, so when the roof is stepped on, etc, the support bends and brings the roof with it because it's sealed together.
We took a metal putty knife and lifted the roof away from the support, and the roof popped back into place.
This isn't a guaranteed fix, because I don't know exactly where ad how your dents got on your roof, but it's worth a try. Yu'll have to pull the headliner down though
You just kinda slice through the seam sealer
