just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this coming sundays import drags at edgewater track in cincy. its not a HUGE event but its one of the only decent local import drags we have around so its usually pretty fun.

Team Race101 is planing on making an appearance. We might bring some heavy hitters with us....

im not positive but i think the gates usually open around 9ish..then practice till around noon then eliminations around 1 or 2?

 

Here's how the last one went...

Gates open 9:30am
time runs 10:00am
Car Show judging at 1pm
Eliminations 2pm

They are having a Quick 8 class and 2 bracket classes

 

Oh crap... this is the first time they will have a quick8 class (we've been encouraging them the first time we brought out our 10 second street supra and my VW).

Well I better step it up if Carey is coming down.... or put a radiator back in it so I can bracket race!

the lady I talked to at Edgewater sounded a little iffy... but here's what she said.

Quick8 class $300 to win
Import 1 class $150 to win
Sub-Compact Class $150 to win
Each class would pay back to the quarters

My understanding is they are all handicap classes. Quick8 will be the quickest 8, Import 1 will be all the other imports, and Subcompact will be for the cars that don't normally fit in an import event.

Any way you cut it... I'll be there.
