waht rpm is a gsr tranny at in 5th at 70mph

hmm.. not sure about 70...

but i know its at 4000rpm @80mph...

at 5th at 80 it revs at about 4000rpm. not sure exactly where @ 70. somewhere around 3500 rpm. its for a 2000 gsr.. not sure if the gear ratio is the same...

mine sits at 3500 rpm at 70 mph.

It's pretty much half of the speed, if that makes sense. For example...

60mph=3k
70mph=3.5k
80mph=4k

Thats a good way to remember it.

Assuming that you're using the oem GSR tranny and tire/wheel combo (same rolling diameter):

MPH in each gear
RPM 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th

1500 7 13 17 23 30
2000 10 17 23 31 40
2500 12 21 29 38 50
3000 15 25 35 46 60
3500 17 29 41 54 70
4000 20 33 47 61 81

6000 29 50 70 92 121
