alternator and belt are bad
i'm having a little trouble on figuring out how to get my belt off then my altenator, can anyone here give me a few pointers, also my car is a 89 crx si with a b16a1 swap if that helps. It just seems like a tight squeeze to get the belt and alternator out from. thanx for any help you guys can give

If the old belt is bad,just cut it in half..

there should be an a bolt on top thats the adjuster bolt, then take a pry bar and pry the alternator toward the front of the car, this should loosen the belt, then u may or may not have to remove the axle to get the alternator out, just depends on how good u are in tight spaces
