AZ Hondata Users: "st00pid" tuning session- UPDATED information!! Prices, dates, ETC...
Ok, so a couple months back GraphiteAccord posted about st00pid(Jason), making a trip to Arizona to tune some boosted cars from around the state. Quite a few people showed interest, including myself.
I spoke with Jason about dates, and prices and heres what we came up with(subject to change, but its a decent "rough" estimate):
-------------------------------------------------
TUNING days: November 24th(monday)- Nov. 30th(Sunday). This is the end of november which most people requested and span's throughout a week's time so we can work with everyone's different schedules.
Traveling days: Jason will be flying in on the 23rd and out on the 1st of December.
Prices: If 10+ cars show up = $200/car ... If 9 or less show up = $250/car. (In my opinion those are AWESOME prices for what you will be getting.
)
-----------------------------------------------
Jason will be staying with FFGeoff, so housing has been taken care of.
FFGeoff is also taking care of dyno time info, which will be posted about soon.

Current list of people who are "in": (if youre not on the list let me know; sorry if I missed you, its nothing personal!

Here's what YOU need to do, if you havent already done so(per request of Jason):
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I would like to have some back up if possible. I have a nice solid running laptop with the latest Hondata software. However Im sure we are all familiar with Murphy's Law. So If someone has another laptop with the software for the Romulator and hondata that would be a bit of security.
One more thing: if people involved would Email me the following information
H-T SN
Engine internals (compression ratio, cams, forged internals, etc)
All external mods(turbo trims, intake, etc)
Injector size
Hondata series (S100, stage 2b, etc)
fuel to be used (octane)
Also any misc info I might need to know.. If you have dynoed the car before let me know what you made.
I think that is all the info Ill need. I will try to have a base map made for everyone involved, however this will be used on the car as we tune, Most of my base maps are too conservative to drive on.
I cant wait to do this.. and thanks to FFgeoff and graphiteaccord for the help in organizing.
edit: st00pidr@aol.com
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Also, as someone mentioned in the last thread, try to get your car running good and all of the "loose-ends" tied up so Jason doesnt have to mess with little things along the way.
I think I've got everything covered that I wanted to say. Please post up if you have questions or comments!
Thanks guys,
Trevor

Sounds good guys. I made changes to the list per request. Jason probally will expect a downpayment of sorts to cover airfare and assure that people dont cancel at the last minute. Is everyone cool with this?
my house is always open to people, it wont fall thru. i have three cars for jason to get busy with
the dyno will be technodyne. ill set things up this week

ARE U KIDDING?!! if its only 250/ car that is an incredible price break from what he normallly does. please tell me that u dont honestly think u can get a car tunned well for less than 250/car if thats the case?
yea thats exactly what i was thinking. from the looks of it now, more than 10 cars will be showing up so we will be getting them done for $200/car. Doesnt Jason usually charge $400+ / car?? i thought it was an AWESOME deal.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? If your someone who's short on cash then that's one thing, but $250.00 is not expensive at all. He normally charges $400.00. How much did you expect to pay?

No, thats okay. I cant wait that long for tuning. I need to get my cars tuned asap, but if i could, I would definatly get stoopid to tune it. I'll let people know. try posting on the full-race forums. http://www.floridastreetscene.com/fullraceforum/
And just to let everyone know, $250 is a Damn good price for Tuning, especially for Hondata.
