Default JDM fog lights messing with my alarm

Well I was down in my fuse box wiring together my lights when I realized that my alarm was pluged into port # 2. Well port number 2 needs to be used by the wiring for the foglights. I tried moving the alarm to port# 3 and tried #5 but it doesn't work. What should i change to get my alarm working and my fogs?

that's an install short cut you've discovered.

plug the fogs in there, and move the parklight wire some where else.

You want the fogs to come on when your parklights flash ? tie it back in to the fog wire you just plugged in.

don't want the fogs on when they flash, try getting your parklight at the switch instead then.

hmm there is a slight problem, I tried moving the alarm wire somewhere else but it doesn't work... and why is this a shortcut?

EDIT: what does the park lights have to do with my alarm working?

I think that port 2 is a shortcut to activate ur parkin lights when u arm the alarm. Basically that port 2 is connected to ur parkin lights, whenever u put a 12v signal to that port, it turns on ur parkin lights. It's a shortcut for installers to tag ur parkin lights without tryin to find the wire that is connected to ur parkin lights. Hope that helps.

It's a short cut in the sense that the guy used a female spade terminal ( 10 seconds) instead of stripping a wire and soldering on to it ( 1 or 2 minutes), to activate the parklights.

Your parklights should flash when you arm and disarm arm your car, also they will flash when it is alarming, that is why they will be tied in to your alarm..
