Do you people really like F-MAX? Granted I bought one of the first kits when the Tial WG was introduced ti the kit, but man what a POS. I had more problems with this kit than I care to remember. All the hardware (nuts, bolts, studs) snapped. The manifold warped. The secondary injector setup is crap. To top it off, no matter what I do I had an exhaust leak.

The kit I'm looking at is here:

http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=19868

Seems pretty good value for money to me.
Will this provide me with everything I need to fit this kit myself(or with the aid of a mechanic to assist me)?
Are these kits pretty easy to install??

Anyone have first person experience with one of these kits? Any comments?

Any advice will be very helpful as I'm fairly new to the FI subject.

Thanks guys/gals

Chris

p.s im currently running a Fujitsubo Legalis R complete exhaust system and manifold and HKS induction kit.

I had a Drag Gen II kit for my 4th gen Lude. The intercooler pipe routing isn't the best. I think they have corrected that with the Gen IV kits.

The FMAX additional injector setup is what I was using instead of the Drag FMU though. I was quite happy with it, considering its low cost.

please say that your lude is non vtec because i have seen too many H22s blow with turbo, they dont like it. however with proper managment and a low boost im sure it wont blow

Is boosting a Lude Vtec engine really that bad an idea. Am I asking for trouble?? Might just go all motor if it is but I want larger power gains.

Its all about reliability and how deep your pockets are. I heard some stuff about DRAG being a PITA to install due to the intercooler, and FMAX easier to install and a pretty good kit. I was always a fan of Rev Hard cuz i think they have the best manifolds, but the kits are pretty pricey and i havent heard anything about their kits. If you have an H22, you're in better shape than my H23, cuz you have alotta parts out there for you to go N/A, i.e. some new 4-1 headers, Skunk2 IM, all the exhausts available are made for the H22's.

I was just going by what i have been told by knowledgable people i was not trying to scare anyone and yes i ahve heard that the H23 likes boost more that is not to say that the H22 is horrible bu i just dont want somebody to have problems with their Honda. it was just some friendly advice thats all and you guys are taking it the wrong way and yes with proper managment you can get anything to run good with a turbo which is what i had said if you actually read what i was posting but he said that he wanted a plug and play turbo kit shich means that he probably wants to do minimal tuning
PS sorry if what i said offended any of you guys I love turbo hondas and would like to see more of them
