Difference in performance between Short Ram and K&N
I need to replace my stock filter on my 95 Si. Is there really much difference between the 2? Besides the 'awesome sound' of the short ram?

Yes, there will be a difference - the K&N drop-in has basically zero performance advantage (although it's not completely worthless since you don't have to keep buying new paper filters).
A short ram will dyno a few horsepower higher, and do better on the street if you can avoid heatsoak (i.e. bumper to bumper traffic conditions).
