NPB: 12.28 @ 112MPH
Well I had a good time at the IDRC race at maple grove this past weekend. I managed to improve on my 1/4 time significantly. Previously I ran a 12.7 @ 113MPH (I was running 7-7.5 PSI) I turned up the boost just a little to 8.5 and managed to run a 12.28 @ 112MPH...here's the slip
60'........1.796
330'......5.090
1/8.......7.858
MPH......89.03
1000.....10.260
1/4.......12.288
MPH......112.28
The car felt great and hopefully after I get rid of the hack and run a real engine managment I can maybe hit some 11's.
On another note I finally got to talk to sixtydashone at the track, great guy and a sick car...congrats on the times!
Oh yeah here's the setup...
LS/vtec stock B18B block, pistons, rods, etc..
stock b16 head
arp head studs
max-rev manifold , dp, turbo
v-afc hack 450 DSm's
3in V.R.S exhaust

Yup I wanted to go with 24.5 x 8 but i got both the 9's for less then one 8.
I do have a feeling that they are slowing my MPH down, but I only broke one axle so far.....this weekend I'm going to test them to the max with some nitrous.

Stock GSR tranny, NO LSD, stock axles. I keep the pressure at 9.5 on the passenger side and 10.5 on the drivers side.

I am going to try and have it at 10 psi this weekend...if I get my 3 bar map in I might even turn it up just a little bit more
al I want is to see a good 11 second run without nitrous before the end of the season.

at that low of a boost your car must weigh pretty light maybe 1800-1900lb or less.
and with those big injectors why don't you do 10-12psi. stock pistons are known to hold 320whp... ask jeff!!!
btw what body style car????
