got a feeling it is originally not a typeR, its got SiR-G Headlight assembly(chrome), it has no 96Spec aluminium tag on the centre console, but i am not sure.

 

I can't even begin to guess what kind of establishment it's parked at in the first pic.

I'm curious though. Fast food?

i ran the specs thru a translator and i got this demented translation:

They are black housings its just the angle and the Lights are on

 

Hard to tell what color the headlights are, they do look kinda chrome. The 96specs don't have a tag, only 98spec and export models.

how'd you get a translator? for free? babelfish doesn't have japanese to english, well, at least from what I searched for.

 

hmmm...it's also got different rims front and back. Looks like some gold/bronze ones in the front and those ol' school Rotas in the rear.

It's cool to see at least the aftermarket wheel has red stitching to match. and what's up with those hood pins. They look kinda strange. I wonder how they would work. Looking at the Tach, it looks about the right amount of RPM to be an R

 

This is a true 96 spec....in Japan we don't do ricey things like pretending SIR's are Type R's.

 

There are a few...I'll can't find the website but you know what they look like!!

if u read the list it says it has 2 sets of wheels... volk racing in the front, racing hart in the rear.

someone told me those are locking hood pins with the pattern key you insert into it.

 

mraiz... i've seen that website too! some guy converted his 98specr front end with usdm itr parts and used ctr wheels to finish the job... i think he even used a usdm airbag wheel (gasp!)

 

Yeah and i bet he didnt pay $3000 for the front end tho

What's with that stupid wing in back though. m4d d0w|\|f0r(3 YO!

You need just a little bit to help keep the back stable under hard braking (though suspension mods help this more). That thing will just slow you down at high speeds.
