Hey i have a black Si, but i wanna get it painted. whats the name of the dakr dark purple color the gsr comes in.. and does OEM paint run higher than shop brands?

I think it is stealth grey. color code: RP-24P oem color.

 

It could be Dark Violet Pearl.

 

Oh yeah, there is that color too...but GS-R's never came in that color.

 

The dark color purple is the Dark Violet Pearl....and yes GSR's did come in that color. I see one everyday parked by my school.

Yes it is called Dark Pearl Violet. I also own a 2000 Pearl Violet GSR and from what I understood they were only made in the year of 2000 and there were a limited number made. I think this color is very rare and there are less Teg's in this color then there are tegs in the SSBP color. Anyone have any other info on that?

 

I have looked for this before, and have never located what I believe to be a realiable production number but I have seen 800 SSBP GSR's in 1998.

Don't know about the other years.

I'm the proud owner of a 2000 DVP GS-R. It's a great color, looks black at night and has a cool look when it's sunny out. Unfortunately, people like to back up into the back bumper and ding my doors!

 

the supersonic blue pearl is much cooler
but it attracts a lot of attention to
whats underneath the hood?

Yea the super sonic blue is tight for a stock color . Ive only seen about 5 ever though

Would a 94 GSR be Taffeta white as well? Need to brush back up on my import skills...have been hardcore into atv's for a while and its hard to keep up with everything.....

 

yeah before i bought my Si, i had a 200 GSR that color. never knew the name of it. i think its the coolest color..but i got to thinkin it wont look at great on a civic.?

 

so whats the paint code for the purple color again? i want to make sure, now that i finaly found a unique color.

I think that one is Frost White

yes sir.
94-97 frost white. 98+ taffeta white.

 

My OEM kit was painted that color when I bought it.

Super Sonic Blue Pearl awesome color! Took me forever to find one in that color and I finally got the right one after finding like 3 of them over 2 years!!! I love my car though and both those colors are bad ***!!! Stock colors look the best! Good choice !!! Makre sure you get it painted right man!!

 

which year i know the color only available on the 94-97 LS and GSR sedans is black currant peral

 

Anyone ever see a navy blue teg before?

I was just curious if this was ever a stock color.

I always see this one by my house. It's not a GSR so I know it's not some special GSR color.
