I was thinking the only thing that would get you some power, would be nitrous. But save your money.

If your really tight on money, then you can do the MPFI swap, get a used intake off someone here on HT or build you own, get a chikara header, and pacesetter exhaust.

Some people will tell you not to get the pacesetter. but on a tight budget, it is the best way. You could spend about 100 bux more and get a dynomax muffler and have a shop build a custom setup. I plan on doing that once I get to a certain point with my car, or if/when the pacesetter falls apart.

With all of that you should notice a much better response. You could also get a nice cam for the motor fairly cheap, or just upgrade to a stock SI cam.

you can do the MPFI swap, and then do a junkyard turbo setup for a few hundred bucks..

But you'll probably need to know what you're doing in order to do something like that.

I don't think it is that much for a exospeed cam

http://www.exospeed.com/engine/cams/D16cam.htm

Just look. 175 after a core, but the increase will be WELL worth the money. And you should be able to pick up a core on here for about 10 bux

MPFI will probably be your best bet. I picked up a manifold with everything (minus injectors) so all I need now are some of the plugs from the Si harness, the '89 Integra ECU (since I'm upgrading to DOHC ZC soon) and the stock fuel injectors (I have 440cc DSM injectors for my turbo project but can't use them right now). So far it's cost me about $60 including shipping.

BTW if anyone has the things i need for sale hook me up!

pop the hood open and unscrew the 4 screws on intake mani where the DPFI is. Then i think theres 2 screws that hold a gold plate that restricts air. Take it off, i dunno if it will really give you any gains but you can hear the butterfly open and close when you hit the throttle
