Yeah, just get a magnaflow. You can even get those on ebay if you like, but they are only like $50 anyway. I got a 2.5" magnaflow muffler and resonator welded on my custom 2.5" mandrel piping and it sounds pretty good. I have a clip if you want to hear it.

I had a Spintech muffler installed on my LS for about $80, labor and all. I agree with these two, get the Magnaflow or at least something of that quality - the typical Ebay or generic mufflers generally sound like ***.

i got an obx twin loop muffler off ebay. I think it is real nice even though most people on here will say obx is crap. With a resonator and 2.25" piping it is barely louder than stock and is a bit deeper too. I love how it looks and sounds

Magnaflow sound clip -> http://www.travisharrell.com/a...t.mpg

This is a custom 2.5" mandrel setup with magnaflow muffler and resonator. This was the day it was installed and it has since gotten a bit quieter and deeper in the low revs.

Got my custom piping from http://www.accordinglydone.com/store/catalog/ Good quality stuff. Piping is matched with magnaflow 22" resonator and magnaflow muffler and not too loud at low rpms.

Interesting. Just curious since I have the same setup and got it installed a couple days ago... How long would you say it took for it to get quieter?

i have the same axleback on my car but i got a ractive midpipe that i paid $156 for..i wish i wouldve known about http://www.carmedia1.com before i bought my midpipe, but oh well.. ck it all out...good buys if you're on a budget

94ls - What diameter is the ractive midpipe - I heard it is not 2.25" and more close to 2"...Is this what you have as well...

OBX also sells the midpipe on ebay for $99....

go with the ebay muffler and get the custom mandrel bend piping at http://www.kteller.com. i got my 3'' piping from kteller for my turbo car and got the replica n1 off ebay. kteller offers 2.5inch piping kits as well and if you bolt it up with the ebay muffler and its raspy, throw a resonator or high flow cat on there. theres also another big advantage to having a replica muffler over an authentic one other than price. my car is dropped close to the floor and everytime i hit those dips or enter a driveway, i scratch my exhaust/muffler. i'm only scratchin $50 and not $200, i can always get a new muffler
