need HELP...on custom exhaust "5th gen owners needed ONLY"
any of you 5th gen lude owners ever built a custom exhaust..using jcwhitney bends..they come in 3 angles 45, 90 and 180...i am having a real hard time figuring out which ones and how many of each i will need...

Last I looked into it (several months ago now), there was still some question as to how well his rear axle-back section fit on the 5th gen application. Some people said it wasn't perfect but were able to get it to work, others said it was useless.
For generic bends, you'll need two 90 degree bends to get you back to the axle - after that it gets tricky where it curves over the rear axle section. Not really any fixed angles. Take a look behind your right rear wheel, you'll see what I mean. My best guess there would be four 45 degree bends & find a good shop to get them to work . . . .

i think you are inviting trouble bringing a pile of piping to midas and asking them to weld it up

i felt that the 180's would be a better choice due to the fact the they can cut them down to a 90 or a 45 if needed..plus i need straight ends..and the 180's give like 18in per side...so what about going with 4 180's and calling it a day???
