Default seperating EK taillights..... anyone?

ok, well it turns out that my taillights were leaking and letting water in so it kinda messed up the "chrome" paint on the inside of the taillights. i know for headlights that the general trick is to heat up the silicon then seperate them. but for the taillights i didnt see any silicon, but i did see some tiny little clips. my guess is that i just press each clip all the way around and they will come apart... but i'm a big ***** and i dont want to break them. so whats the easiest way to seperate the outer taillight housings on an EK coupe? sorry for the lame question but the last thing i want is some broken taillights.

i have no idea on this but the only thing you can do is be careful with it and kinda look around at the clips
if you break one or two its not the end of the world you can always do somethign to keep it together
good luck with this
oh yeah ive seen people drill a small hole at the bottom to help take the water out so hope that helps

sitck them in your oven for no longer than 3 minutes at a time at 250 degrees farnehiet, the heat will melt loosin up the glue, use pennys and a butter knife to wedge between the creases and hold it open while you work around the edges. also slip pennys between the clips so it doesnt clip back on...

ive done this to many tailights and it works perfect, just remember no longer than 3 minutes in the oven at a time, u may have to put them back in a few times but no longer than 3 minutes per time...

good luck
