Default Some pain in my life!

Sorry the pic is so small, it was taken with my phone and that is the size that I can email it.

Some lady turned right into me, I avoided as much as possible and she did not attempt to stop whatsoever and that was the end result. Honda has told me that it is going to be about 1,500,000 to fix! The damn airbags, the ECU that controls them and the seatbelts are close to 500,000 themselves. Well the car will be completely different when I get it back.

Stay tuned...

Chris

This is where you have to love Japan (SARCASM). Since both cars were moving, there is no 100%. I have to battle with my insurance and her insurance and hope that I can get it to 90% her fault.

Current exchange rate is like 109/$1 so figure it is about $13760!!! Figure if I have to pay hopefully no more than $1400 out of my pocket! Isn't it just stupid, not even my fault and I may have to pay that much.

Well depends on how much I have to shell out of my pocket. Tentative plans, I am not replacing the airbags, instead will go with the Mugen steering boss and back to a normal for me 320mm Momo wheel. Hopefully a full Ings kit to include the Ings carbon hood. Mugen MF10's in bronze, A'pexi VAFC2, GruppeM carbon air intake. I am hoping, guess I will find out shortly.

Thanks. It really does suck, it is still so new. Well hopefully all my plans pan out and the car will be better than it was. It might just be a blessing in disguise!

Its the Y plates man, I noticed that the Okinawans take more chances when they see that a car has sofa status plates. They'd never do that to one of their own

They know that if the Y gets the fault, then they can get a payday! I really think she may not of seen me at first and when she did, she panicked and didn't know what to do. I think she should go after the government, as the shubbery is pretty high in the median. Still is her fault though.

Not at all! I did my best to avoid what could have been alot worse. I've got skills , ha whatever, but my friend was impressed when he came to the scene. I attribute it to the brakes mostly, they are fantastic. Some may say, well if they are so great why did you hit? It really was unavoidable, if she would of just braked, I could of easily manuevered around her. If you look closely at the pic, you will see an entry way into a parking lot, in the split seconds I looked in but couldn't attempt to swing it in there as a freakin tour bus was exiting it. Just really bad timing. How bad, I actually U-turned about 10 minutes earlier to hit up a gas stand as gas was going for only $3.42/gal versus the normal $3.82/gal. In hindsight, saving ******* $4 really sucked ***. If I would of just kept going home none of this would of happened. Oh well, such is life and I'm still here to talk about it.
