would like to know what the diff from the k20's from the type s and the baseline rsx cus my friends got a baseline and i cant hear vtec with intake header exhaust, now i heard another one (type s) racing it had ****** loud vtec, are the base lines the economy vtec like the hx civic or they just really weak cams? let me know

explain the differences.

That said, the RSX-S has a K20A2. The RSX has a K20A3 (same as the new Si).
The A3 doesn't have VTEC on the exhaust cams. That is the main difference and
probably why you don't hear it "hit" (I love that term, heck, I love the idolization of
vtec for that matter) as much on the base RSX.
