Default RSX-S AEM V2 INTAKE FIT IN 03 SI?

The reason I ask is because I plan to do the k20a2 swap as soon as I find a deal on it. In the mean time, I would like to purchase the V2 intake. If I purchased a V2 intake for my si now, and did the k20a2 swap later, would the intake still fit? It should right? I just want to be sure before pouring out a couple bills. The V2 is already out for the RSX-S so I assume theres one out for the Si although I am not 100% positive. One more question. How much better is the V2 compared to a regular CAI? I know the tubing on the V2 is fat as hell, but the filter is still located in the engine bay sucking in hot air. What do yall thinK? Thanks.

According to http://www.eampower.com, the V2 for the Si is "coming soon" ... so it's not out yet.

The filter for both the CAI & CAI V2 is located just in front of the left tire, so neither are sucking in hot air. Is V2 better??? No one really knows for the Si since a comparison hasn't been done yet. I personally think it's all hype.

Get a regular AEM CAI or Comptech Icebox now and enjoy!

according to my friends type S, his V2 took the place of where his old airbox was located and not in front of the left tire like a regular CAI. reason for that is because the fatass tubing from the V2 cannot squeeze into that compact area
