Default Recommendation for ALL Teg' Owners

This may be off topic, but I don't care at the moment. All you guys in here with Integras, especially GSR's, stock or not, if you have a garage, park it in there. Trust me, my car was outside for a month and nobody touched it, so i got careless, now its gone. Just do yourself a favor and regardless if you think you have a problem where you live, take every precaution. Park it in a garage, do whatever you need to do to make sure it CANNOT be taken by somebody. Having to park your car in a garage every night & arm the alarm is worth a lot more trouble than having it stolen from outside your house.

I am glad I don't live in Cali. It happens here in GA but usually by people you know and not random car thieves.

I didn't have anything on it yet. I was about to get an alarm, but you know i didn't rush it because it had been outside my house for about a month and not one thing had happened to it, no scratches or anything. I start to get comfortable, was going to get an alarm installed this saturday, and its gone.

yea. I had full coverage, so i'm getting a little bit more back than I paid for the car. I'm not sure if I wanna get a teg' right now, or later, i definetly wanna get one again, but insurance right now, since i'm 17 (18 on saturday), is ALOT. I was paying $360/month for my GSR. When i'm 19 it'll go down by almost half, so i think i might wait till then to pick up another teg, unless insurance on an LS is signifcantly cheaper than a gsr? But basically i just wanted to let all you teg guys know that do not wait to get an alarm or any security device, get it ASAP.

I live in a very nice neighborhood in Kansas and my GS-R was stolen. Even the cops in my town couldn't believe it happened.

It can happen anywhere to anyone. All it takes is one piece of trash to see you driving around...they will follow you home and come back in the middle of the night to take your car.
