Suspension upgrade questions
Hi
I have a 90 Civic Si with ZC motor.
Currently on the car is stock shocks with some lowering springs...dunno who makes them, but the car handles bad.
I'm looking to get some coilovers...any recommendations? spring rates for front and rear? shocks? any suggestions?
I plan to autox and DE this car alot, and i really dont mind a rough ride on the street...i just want a good handling car at the track.
Thanks
Franklin

Koni shocks is the way to go, most people here will agree they are the best shock for the $. I would go with a Koni/ ground Control setup 350-400f/450-500r.
I run koni's with GC's 450f/600r.
daily driven, autox'd, and HPDE'd.

I have allways been a fan of Ground Control. Give them a call and tell them what you want from the car, they can help you out. I would not go much over 500lbs/inch spring rate if you still drive on the street though.
I'm using the GC/revalved bilsteins on my BMW and i love it, but didnt know what's best for my civic.
I'll give GC a call for my civic application. Thanks.
Also, my friend recommended Tein coilovers....anyone here with comments for this?
thanks
