I just got off the phone with RacerBoy (Mike) and was told that his newly painted black 1991 Crx Si was stolen this morning from his driveway. Mike bought this car from me a year ago and has literally brought it back to life. It kills me to think that all his hard work was stripped away from him just like that. If anyone in the NYC (Queens/Long Island) area spots the following car, please notify the authorities at once!! Here is a pic of the car:

That's horrid. It has to be someone on HT though... I mean in order for them to know that the car was finished and all it'd have to be. Especially since that other thread was just last week. If you're reading this (theives), I hope you ******* die, and get *** raped by Satan in you dreams.

 

Sorry to hear that man I live on the island and will keep an eye and ear open for him I hope you find the car......Theifs suck my friends gsr got stolen out of his drive way got another one and it got stolen from his school

 

Being that the car used to be mine before Mike put all the work into it, I can't help but share in Mike's pain right now. I have no doubt that whoever stole the car definitely frequents these boards and saw the updated pics of the car.

Mike happens to live in a pretty secluded and well off area where I don't believe car theft is prevalent. This leads me to believe the car was stolen by someone that either knows Mike or knows where he lives. I sincerely hope that Mike finds his ride back with minimal damage and hope that the ****** who stole it dies!!

Sucks. I felt violated when mine got broken into so I symphatize. I'll keep an eye out and I'll keep my ears open if I hear anything. Good luck getting it back!

I'm ******* livid right now. I'm so done with the Honda scene its not even funny. I don't care if the theif that took it returns with my car...I'll give them $500 no questions asked. Holy **** dude that ****** blows. i was so looking forward to seeing that car at the upcoming meet. sorry to hear that man, but there is always an upside to this, you weren't in the car when they tried taking your car (so you werent hurt) , and 2 the person who took this will get theres coming.

maybe this is a stupid question but, are you sure it wasn't towed or something? I mean i live in a place where I have to park in a shared apartment complex parking lot, and on multiple occasions I have thought my car was stolen when in reality it was an expired or missing permit that caused them to tow me. if you call the cops they can tell you if it was towed, 'cause tow drivers are required to call in the VIN and plate # of each car they tow.

would it really matter to you if you woke up and had a d series crx and it was stolen i have a dx hatch with a crx si swap and i love my car to death, it dosnt matter what you have under the hood when it comes to this, its the point of being violated, not if you have a b series motor, i can't believe you said that, cuz you would be crappin a brick if you woke up with your " d series " car stolen
