I'm approaching the end of my warranty period and I plan to have the dealer take a look at my headliner rattle. I've seen this topic discussed many times and it's clear that this is a defect. For all of our benefits, I would like everybody to leave a comment about their problem with the headliner and whether or not they've had it fixed. Also, if you could state where your from, year of your prelude, and any other relevant info it would be great. We can all print out these comments and use them to show any dealer that may have a problem with correcting this defect that the problem is wide-spread. Your comments and cooperation is appreciated.

 

I have year 2000 base... I had aftermarket suspension before and I also have headliner rattles. I went to dealer one day to ask them to check out the noise but they blamed that it is from aftermarket suspension... so I just removed put back the stock suspension and went there again. so now they can't blame anything aftermarket and have to take a real look what is going on.

so they pulled down the headliner and foam taped everything. The rattle is gone..

 

Ive got the headliner rattle too!!! It rattles only when the sunroof is open though. With the combination of the headliner rattle and my fatal sounding shock knock (aftermarket springs and shocks), the stereo is always up a little louder.
