okay....for all you integra owners out there that have pre-96 trannies...on my tranny...instead of having a vin plate i got that scan bar there..the first three numbers and letters are S80....can u tell me if these numbers are for a ls tranny or a gsr tranny?????????

 

i remember from a recent post that someone said the ls and gsr trannies share some of the letter/number designations so you can't tell with that. It looks like you've had a conversion done, and if you're still running stock size wheels and have the correct gauge cluster, what rpm do you run at going 25mph in 1st, or better yet, what mph do you get up to redlining 1st, since the gearing is different for the ls and gsr trannies we should be able to tell from that.

 

I think you won't be able to tell from 1st gear. I believe the GS-R and LS trannies have the same first 2 gears.
