Default Tranny question

I'm planning a LSVTEC build for my 98 RS

Heres what I have planned so far:

B18A block
ARP rod bolts with PR3 pistons
B16A1 head
ITR cams springs retainers
AEBS intake manifold
AEM fuel rail
H22 injectors
S2K TB

Thats it so far ... havn't dealt with the fuel issues yet but I'm collecting major hardware first.
My questions Are ...
What would be a good tranny for my car with this setup?
Is it a bad idea to use a B18A block for my 98?
I dunno much about tranny's but which can I use, and which can't I use?
I know that I can't use the factory B16A1 tranny but I don't know why?
Can someone break down the tranny codes and applications for me?

I know there are a lot of questions there but any help is greatly appreciated. Any comments on my setup are also welcome.
thanks!!

Yea, lsd would be better than no lsd.

Also, they made RS integras in '98?

You COULD use the B18b tranny but you wouldn't like the long gearing.
