New Prelude owner
I'm so excited. I'm picking up my first car, a 1995 Honda Prelude S tomorrow. She paid $12,000 for it a year and a half ago from a dealer. It had about 123K miles on it when she got it, and it has like 133K on it now. The chick wanted Kelly Blue Book, $5,300, but we're getting it for 5. I can't wait till I get it. My dad is going to teach me how to drive a stick shift. I love this car, it's so sexy. The only thing is that there is some pain chipped off from where the chicks step dad hit it, no physical damage, just paint. We are going to have it repainted of course. She had all the papers on it, Smog check, its tags are updated, new fan motor (she called it). My dad wants to get the timing belt replaced, he said that Honda's should have that replaced after a while. So yeah for me, I sound like a n00b i know, but I'm just so excited. Man this is like a dream come true. I also will need some help finding some nice clean JDM parts for it. I searched around, and Preludes are hard to shop for, or its just me, anywho.... the first thing I'm going to do is have the inside cleaned, change the oil, and buy a car cover for it, since can't park in the garage. My dad, my brother and I are in the process of restoring a 1965 Ford Falcon which sits in the 1 car garage basically. So yeah, thats my speal. My first car is a PRELUDE, I love being 16

start your HT homework, and learn everything you can. Learning about your car is just as good an investment as any mod..
oh ya, and make sure you autox it.
