Default Who has used forged Pistons in non sleeved pre 97 H series blocks???

Looking to go H23 VTEC and want a little more compression than the Type S Slugs will give... I want to keep the head un milled and the chambers are going to stay in the original shape so dome size and gasket thickness are my only options for compression...

Anyone ever run forged slugs in the solid deck pre 97 H series blocks without sleeving?

If so how did it run?

just looking for some feedback so any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated...

Rick

Do a search there is already a post on this. It is a moronic idea to run forged without resleeving, this should not even be a consideration.
