Default A few questions for the knowledgeable of wideband sensors

A wideband sensor generally has 5 wires correct? Can these be wired up independantly of a control unit to that you can simply read voltage output from the sensor and use that tune as long as you can match voltages to an AF number? Would this work? If so I could use a simple volt meter to tune my car if I purchased a sensor. Cheap and fairly effective for a street tune??

Unfortunatly no. The terperature has to be precisely controlled to function. Its not like they have a simple 12v heater wire.

the new techedge 2.0 is pretty cheap and uses the newer cheaper sensors. like cheetah said you can also get a diy kit from them and save even more $$...better be good with a soldering iron.
