Default Whats everyone using for aftermarket Radiators?

Hey people,

I've been looking for a radiator for my civic hatch. I have a friend with the 92-95 civic half radiator in his car made by fuildyne, and it fits a little wierd. Is there anyone that makes an aftermarket radiator for a 88-91 Civic/CRX, and will fit a little better? The radiator needs to be able to hold up to 500+ WHP, so if you have any ideas please let me know.

Thanks in advance

http://www.coolradiator.com

I bought my full aluminum (no plastic) radiator from this guy for 249.00 shipped to my door. I must say, I am very pleased with my choice. The guy I talked to on the phone that I bought my radiator from said the quality is the same as Fluidyne, I always question things that are said in comparison so I showed the radiator to a guy who races and installs Fluidyne radiators regularly and he also agreed that the quality is the same. It comes down to what you want, I bought this one instead of Fluidyne because my old radiator leaked and I needed one and I did not have the money for the cost of a Fluidyne.

The radiator will have to be a half size one, in order to make room for the turbo manifold. The 92-95 civic one is a lot longer and would probably hang to low, thats why I was trying to see if anyone else uses something different.

which motor setup? i had a b16a w/ Rev Hard turbo kit in my 89 with the automatic dual core from radiators.com(all metal radiator, 99 bucks) with no radiator clearance problems. I just used two thin fans from pep boys, one pushing, one pulling with no cooling problems. The thing that was in the way was the crossmember that had to clear the IC piping and downpipe.

The problem that my friend had with the 92-95 Civic radiator, was the radiator was longer, so it was an issue with the crossmember and the bracing in front of the radiator where the hood comes down on to lock into place(if that makes sense at all) and had to be cut a little in order for the radiator to fit better. He also has a 88-91 Hatch with a turbo'd B series, like myself.

on the CRX, we're running a cheap "Scirocco Style" radiator from Jegs. It was like $70 or something, plastic end tanks (which I hate), and a dumb pressure cap (that I hate). Plus it required quite a bit of fitting to make it work, and wouldn't fit on a car with a stock bumper/hood/headlights.

i use a 92-95 civic halfsize 53mm koyo aluminium radiator with a place racing crossmember and a flexalite fan, so it fits just fine.

i bought the radiator from http://www.absoluteradiator.com. they have good prices and great customer service
