Recently my brother purchased a set of rear speaker grills for his 95 civic coupe..However, I am stumped on what exactly do they mount to. Is there a bracket that is needed to secure it to the rear deck..RighT now he has two grills each came with 3 screws but we are unable to figure out how tO secure it to the deck..If someone with this car could explain how they are secured or post a picture it would be truly appreciated. Thanks!

 

you should have little pods that you can put the speakers into that come out of the rear deck, just put the speakers in there and they fit like they're supposed to

 

When he bought the car there was no grills just empty spaces...He purchased grills from someone else, only to realize when he got home they dont fasten to anything..Do you have a pic of the pod..

 

You'll probably have to remove the rear deck cover - the grilles screw right into that. There should be little indents underneath the deck cover where the screws go, and a pattern to cut out for the speaker to play through.

 

If my brother gets home I will snap a couple of pics cause their isnt a bracket to hold the speaker the rear deck...

 

u gotta pull the rear deck out and cut out the factory provisions for the grills.. it might take a while but it not hard and you will see what needs to be cut out when you get the rear deck out of the car
