does anyone in SoCal know what the legal limit is for tinting your windows? I would like to get mine tinted professionally from a store certified by my acura dealer, about how much am i lookin to pay? I wanna tint my back windshield, back windows, and driver and passenger window. so basically all around except the front.

 

I dont know the tint laws in Cali but it should run anywhere from $130 to $200 with the Llumar Titanium tint. I would suggest getting the front and rear windows the same percentage. Also have them tint over the 3rd brake light....it looks much cleaner that way.

You can tint all the windows. The law was changed because you can get skin cancer from daily dose of sunlight in traffic. BUT, the tinit % they allowed is so low. I believe it's like 75-80%. That's about what is stock on some luxury cars.

Most people like 35%, but that is no no in CA on the front side windows. So I went with 50% all around. It look stock, but just a slight reflection/tint from certain angles. But I think I would chance with 40% if I was to do it again.
