my search isnt working, but i remember reading that the eg shock travel is different and the rear struts wont fit on the back of an ef. is it because of a fork, or are they longer? what kind of bad things would happen by putting them on an ef? the reason im asking is because a friend of mine is selling some brand new struts for 175 and i reallty want to jump on them. thanks in advance.

 

they will fit... if you are willing to change the front forks over to the eg. and be warned that they are taller than the ones for the ef, but if you dont slam (so low the shocks are bottoming) your ride you'll be just fine. good luck tom
