Question regarding locks on '99 LX
On my '99 Accord LX sedan, I am having a problem with my locks.
The front locks can either be controlled via electric pulse (as in opening one door and it opens the rest, or by remote unlock (I added remote entry)), or directly via the key. My front doors have degenerated such that I can only unlock them directly with the key. If I put the key in and try to unlock the other doors, it will only unlock the back ones (not the opposite front door). If I use my remote unock, it will only unlock the back doors.
On an electric unlock, I can see the front locks move a little, thus they are getting some juice, but it is never enough to actually make them unlcok.
Any ideas?

i have almost the same problem. I have an alarm and when i press the lock or unlock button it would lock or unlock all the doors, but the DRIVER's side one. Also, when i press the button on the door panel, it would unlock or lock the rest of the doors, but the DRIVER'S side one. Anyone know how to fix it? Is it an electrical problem? Can i bring it back to the place where i installed my alarm and they can fix it?
When you press the button on the door panel or on the remote, do you see the lock moving a little like it wants to lock or unlock, but doesn’t have enough juice?
Before I take this in to be diagnosed, thus paying $$$, could it be a problem with my battery not providing enough juice? It does have 5 years on it, though I have not noticed any other problems that normally come along with a dying battery (harder to start, dim lights, etc).
