Default This is an elect. problem for the pros...

Ihave a 90 crx dx and i just put in a new main relay. Now my problem is that my gauge cluster no longer works. The ONLY thing that works on it is the battery light. When i was installing the relay i pulled another relay that has 4 wires in it but i plugged it back up. I also have an alarm that hasnt worked since i bought the car so i decided to take it out...i pulled the plug out of the brain and cut 4 wires that werent in the plug...they were directly into the brain. Ive checked all the fuses, pulled off the cluster and made sure all the wires were intact, put the brain back on to see if that was it, and ive checked all the grounds...and still nothing. What could it be? Im completely lost here. Like i said...this ones for the pros.

k first get a manual from pep boys...
better than having nuttin

then take main relay out and with the book do the proper tests to make sure that one its good.....
since u touched other stuff... i bet ur problem lies on whatever u touched on the alarm...

also unplug the main realy and on the conector use a voltmeter and on ohms, make sure theres continuity to GND from the black wire on the relay plug...
if not theres a GND problem....
