im thinking the overheating is not because of your radiator size.

have any suggestions on why im over heating. i have already changed my themostat, water pump, and the ect sensor. the car will over heat and then i kill the engine for about a minute and turn it back on and the temp. will jump up to about 3/4 of the way up and then instantly drop back down to normal operating temp.

are you checking to see if your fan is coming on?> that might be the cause of the overheating.

is your radiator new? check the bottom part of the radiator where you cant see...it could be starting to corrode and rust there...most people cant see it...but when you take it ouit its in pretty rough shape and doesnt do its job anymore. Happened to me.

I know what your problem is. I'm sure your problem is your temp. sensor or some people call it temp. switch and if does'nt fix your problem. then it's your collant sensor If your collant sensor is not working that will make your car overheat. just check the stuff that i mentioned
