Default Reynolds 1/4 mile track Results: 92 cx with b16a

This was my first time ever at the track and i am by no meens a good driver. It was fun i I'll be going again to see if i can improve a little.

Full interior with AC (I know it needs paint. I'll be taking care of that in the next couple weeks)

JDM first gen b16a with s4c tranny, usdm 4-1 header, 2.5" custom exhaust, chipped p28, stock clutch, kumho 711 w/ 30 psi

The one on the left is my very first run and the one on the right is my best of the night. Ignore reaction time because i really wasn't worried aout that. My best kill was a newer model mustang GT. Got him by about .25 seconds.

I think a 14.6-14.7 would be possible if i advanced the timing a little, got 60' to a 2.1 or 2.2, cold air intake, and let my engine cool after the 2 hour drive. The engine was always fully warmed up because i never stopped running. All advice and flames are welcome.

It's got high 14's in it for sure. Just go back and work on your launch, shift points, and driving. Not bad for 1st time racing

were you boggin out or blowin the tires off?? If you were boggin out you got another mph or two. Go back and get some 2.1 60ft's are run some mid 14's 95 mph should be enough for mid 14s in that ride.

Mostly bogging out. I launched at 5500 And spun out when i got the 15.08. It seems to be better to spin a little than bog out any.

good job for your first time man. the tree can be tricky. Practice those launches and you could probably break 15 with ease.

My friends crx with modded b16 can't even break 15 for some reason. Something must be wrong with it, because he's a pretty decent driver and pulls 2.2-2.3 60's.

bogging will def **** ya worse than spinning, atleast if you blow the tires off you still get a good trap, if ya bog you are spending more time on the clock, slooowwllyyyy waiting to get into yer powerband. I used to run my car with the b16 and thats how it was for me, bogging is yer worst enemy with a 1.6.

lower your psi down to 22-24 or so and slip the clutch more.
