mugen chip?

Default mugen chip?

can an mugen chip made for a 92-95 ex auto be used in a 98 ex? If so how hard is it to install? anyone have a how to or any type of places to go to get them put in ?

If you mean an OBD-1 Mugen chip into your OBD-2 98 EX ECU.... then no. The chips are totally different (rectangle 28-pin EPROM compared to a square-looking chip for the OBD-2 ECUs). And in most cases, the "Mugen" program has DOHC VTEC specs on it and isn't specifically designed for a SOHC VTEC motor, but will still run with it.

You can't chip and OBD-2 ECU (well you can but nobody offers it) and then you have an auto and if you get it chipped it will become a manual ECU.

chips usually suck, mugen/spoon/skunk2, they just dump tons of fuel.
