should I bother with a 15000 mile dealership tune?

what are your thought?? I change my oil and filter every 3000 miles.

Well, basically if you can find out what they do, you can do it all yourself,,even the valve adjustment. IMO it's not worth going to the dealer for.

I never brought mine in for that dealership tune.. I'm up to 29,999 miles and the motor is running strong. I don't hear unusually loud ticking, so I assume the valves are still close to spec.

What exactly do they do ? Does anyone know what they do in a 15000 mile tune-uP? What about a 30000 mile tune-up? i'm at 23000 miles now and don't know wheter or not i should have done the 15000 mile tune-up...
