Default Anyone use 26" slicks on an EG civic?

Ok, I was playing around with this gear/speed calculator:

http://jadesupra.net/gears/index.html

and with an LS final drive and gsr gears (i have both trannies) my 4th gear on 26" tall slicks with a 7,500 rpm redline would be 132 mph. I plan to make around 450-500 whp or so on a 2300 lb w/ driver car

my question is, should I just go with a 24.5" slick (i have to go with a 15" slick if i want 26", m&h and mickey T make a 25" as the largest diameter on 13" wheels) or should I try 26" slicks, and does anyone run slicks that size?

what kind of body modifications do i need for my EG? fiberglass front end maybe

he's some possible combo's ive been playing with, all on 26" tall tires, 7500 rpm redline

4.26 final drive + GSR gears = 4th gear ends @ 132 (125 on 24.5")
4.40 final drive + LS gears = 4th gear ends @ 136 (126 on 24.5")
LS tranny stock = 4th ends @ 141 lol (130 on 24.5")
GSR tranny = 4th ends @ 128 (121 on 24.5")

Basically, do i want to stay in 4th as much as possible, or bite the bullet and just shift into 5th instead of losing time shifting from 4th to 5th as I'm going thru the traps and lose mph

right now on 300 whp, im trapping 118-119, so another 150-200 hp im most probably looking at 130+ at the very least right?

I prefer to call it BFH. So just FID and use the BDH.

you can use the 26's for the gearing, but you'll probably net better times with a higher rev limit and 24's. 26's are used generally for over 550 to the wheels. usually for over 600 and mated to a b16 tranny. with the 26's, you'll need beefed up axles where as with only 400 to the wheels and 24.5" slicks, oem axles will work. but pertaining to your question about fitment, 26's will fit with minimal to no cutting on a 92-95 civic with coilover suspension. 400 to 500 hp, most people use 25's.
