to the people using these line. i need your feedback on the product. does it fit well? how much difference compare to stock? does it seem like it will last for a long time?

braided brake lines are better, they do last longer and are supposed to improve your braking.

I got the Earl's on my hatch.
It took like two weeks waiting for them, but when I finally got them, put them on, bled the brakes like 5 times on each corner, put in synthetic brake fluid.
Stops a little harder, but no fade anymore.
Pedal stays firm, no matter how much you put them thru.
Even when i auto-xed they held up.
This was also w/stock calipers, KVR cross drilled rotors, and Autozone high-perf. pads.
Stock rear drums and Earls back there too.
A big for firm stoppers.

 

I highly recommend goodridge lines.

have you try earl's line and goodridge line?

 

I put in goodridge lines the day before I did "The Driver's Edge" driving school running Texas World Speedway. They held up real well and are still going, install and connectors were perfect.

 

Yes, I have had both lines. I actually got the earls first because they were the only ones readily available at the time, then ended up having to search out a set of goodridege because the earls didnt even come close to fitting properly and routed poorly. I ended up ordering my goodridge set from stillen because they were on backorder everywhere else and they had them in stock and here in two days.

From what I have read Earls is better then goodridge. But I cant confirm this since its only what I have read. But I can confirm that the Earls fit perfect on my '91 Si.

 

maybe you got a wrong set of earls, its not impossible for them to ship you the wrong product,

i have a set of earls and they fit perfectly, just like stock,

i have also heard they were better than goodridge but i cannot remember the reason or prove that they are any better. i know they are about 20$ cheaper though.

 

Perhaps I got an early production set and they have since redesigned. Though I still wouldn't give a company like that a second chance. I have also recently installed two sets for the 92-5 civic that weren't even close for the rear and had to be duck taped and looped around the back of the shock, and infront could only be zip tied to one shock mount. The Goodridge set comes with a lifetime warranty for a reason.

sounds like someone ordered **** for the wrong car or you have no idea what you are doing

 

I have goodridge, no complains, you get lifetime warranty, I got this credit card like warranty. It's all good but there appears to be one bracket missing. Goodridge feels all you need is a cover which they provide.
I just got a set of new shocks and they come wiht that bracket so I'm set. I've had my goodride lines for over 4 ears. So, throught winter salts and chit, they still look new after every wash.

The ductape was used to protect $2000+ suspension setups that I would prefer the stainless lines not to damage due to their poor design. I'm not going to sit here and argue with an internet tuner, I"m just stating that I would much prefer goodridge lines. If you had the opportunity to actually see both products you would understand why. Also, earls as a company has been around awhile, but they were recently purchashed and added to the Mr.Gasket group and as a result had a large drop in quality. Ask anyone building any real racecar about the earls fittings and why a number have started using areoquip despite it's increased cost.
