Default Help! rear disc brake caliper seized up on my '90

I have rear brakes from a 92 GSR. The left(driver side) brake caliper bracket is supposed to slide in and out during normal operation, but one of the slides is locked up. I pulled it off and my brake pads were fried, and I couldn't get the slider to work loose. I called all the auto parts stores and they said it was probably the caliper that was bad.... so I picked up a new caliper and of course the part I need is not included with a new caliper. They said that the "caliper bracket" is not available. I tried the Honda dealership, and they said I'd have to buy a whole new caliper to get the bracket, and that it would cost $389. I only paid $200 for the whole brake conversion so that would be a waste. I really don't want to hunt down another rear brake conversion just for one measly bracket, but I am running out of ideas. any help would be appreciated!

I am not sure what your problem is, can you post pics? If all you need is a bracket try a search on google for dismantling/salvage yards cause they should have that part for you.
