what car does the d15b sohc vtec long block come out of?
WIll this motor and auto tranny work in a DelSol?

The motor is out of a civic VTi that never came to the states. You should be able to use it just fine. Just remember to use you stock motor mounts.

Here is quite a bit of history on the D15B. http://asia.vtec.net/article/d15b/ .

Be aware that there are a few D15B engines... The most common of which is the SOHC VTEC. There is a SOHC non-VTEC that is also the D15B (comparable to the D15B7 with a tad more power). I think there was also a carbed one???
