easy there dood, just persevere, dont gat all stressed about it. WTF am I talking about, I would do the same thing. I know that it sucks, but just keep trying. I know there is probably a lot of effort in there. Don't just throw it away because you can figure out one problem.
As far as your problem goes, I would sy replace your water pump.

It's not just about the overheating...I have been getting board with the car, I actually almost sold it 6mos ago, but decided to stick w/ it...
