Looking aroud at the line on my intake manifold I see a line going from the top of my TB to what looks like a canister of some type. It is lockated against the forewall on the pass. side. What is it and is it nessary?

 

the canister is for gas vapors and yes you do need it.

 

charcoal canister to be exact. if you dont have it more than likely u'll throw a cel but im not exactly sure

 

it takes you access fuel vapors and turns it back into gas, then drools it back into your gas tank..

Thats my understanding..
