Default Sears is now selling a lightweight Aluminum jack

http://www.sears.com/sr/produc...39000

Since it is a craftsman, it should be under lifetime warranty. The website says $180, but I got a flyer in the mail for $162.

I may purchase this as opposed to the harbor freight.

Just because it's a craftsman doesnt mean it has lifetime warranty....their torque wrenched do NOT have lifetime warranty for instance...

FYI

good find though

Matt

Depends on which salesman you talk to

I have gotten my torque wrench replaced under warranty.

HAHAHAHA...you are just wrong! But, I almost caught that E36 M3 before going off turn 1.

I have it on video. But it is 65mb. Maybe I'll put in on CDROM and hand them out.

It's $162 if you use your sears card. 10% off all purchases with your sears card right now (I work at Sears).

I just noticed this jack in the ad, but haven't seen it in person yet. It should be a 1 year warranty but don't quote me on that.

craftsman torque wrenches have a 1 yr warranty.

Sadly, my 32 year old unit my father purchased in 1971 is still dead on. Even after leaving it set at 85 ft/lbs for 6-7 years, which is a MAJOR no-no!!!!!!!

Snap-on driver tested it against 6 NEW unit on his truck. Mine was good along with 1/2 of what he had in stock. He ended up sending 3 NEW units back for recal.

Old tools, GOOD TOOLS!

My Crafstman torque wrench only came with a 90 day warranty. I don't know about Sears, but at harborfreight you can buy extended warranty for the jack, and it's very cheap too.
