I have a general question, because I will be in a race tonight just wanted to poll and see who you guys thought has the advantage.

SOHC Vtec - D16Z6 - CAI - DC Headers - 2 1/4 piping with high flow cat - Exhaust - External Coil - 91 Si Obd 1 Tranny - 65 shot ZEX kit

VS.

DOHC VTEC GSR Integra - CAI - DC Headers - Exhaust - Venom Chiped ECU

also, what is the stock hp rating for the GSR, isnt it like 175? with 145 lbs of torque? Thanks for the thoughts guy/girls.

Sorry guys this a 91 civic hatch with the SOHC and a 94 + Integra GSR

 

my moneys on the sohc vtec

 

go race and find out. Too many variables to give a definitive answer.

 

I think the SOHC will take it. Granted the integra has a more powerful engine, it's also heavier AND it's in a heavier Integra shassis.

With the 65 ZEX kit the lighter SOHC should hold it's own.

 

91 hatch, z6, with a 65 shot, will definately wax that teg...your puttin down the same amount of power to the wheels if not maybe even alittle more, in ahelluva alot lighter car....that and the bottle is instant power, smacckkkooo, the hatch definately will pull hard.

 

SOHC all the way. With you on nitrous, if your both equal drivers you will kill him.

These threads are so subjective, what engine is each car? Can you drive? etc.....

BTW, the GSR engine has 170 HP 127 ft/lb tq, the USDM engine at least.

 

The SOHC has nitrous. Of course it will win on the bottle! Unless the driver just sucks . . .

Im kinda sick of all these "who would win" posts. If you do your own research on the modifications done to each car, you should be able to tell who would win.
