Installing a CAI but how in the hell do you..
Im installing my CAI but i cant seem to find away to get the air houseing that sits down low like behind the bumped the box that has the "upipe go down inside it and come back up..? anyone know what im talking about how does that damn thing come off?
im sorry that no one could help you out...but i do recall a post where instructions on how to install an CAI were posted...you should always do a search to see if a topic has already come up or not.
what i did when i took the resonator off, was take the right tire off and unscrew the lining and then like rip it off the bolts and then threw that worthless piece of crap away.
i just took a section of the modoling of and the lower plastic part of the front bumper that little gray strip and undid the bolts on the resonator ( 2 ) and it fell right out.
Yeah pretty easy job but enlarging the opening is a bitch. I hate cutting sheet metal. Oh I don't know if you have to do that on 5th gens.

Lucky for you guys. 4th gen (90-93) Accords required cutting to get the AEM CAI pipe out of the engine bay and into the front bumper.

PHEW!
I would've keeled over and died had I gotten my Accord generations mixed up all these years. My Accord is my baby... got her with 2.5 miles on the odo.
Up to 134,000 miles now, but the new Prelude motor's got less than 5K on it. Man that f**ker rips...
