Cams
What camshafts do any of you use? I've been looking at Skunk2 and Crane cams for a few weeks trying to understand the technical jargon. What are your opinions of the cams you've seen? I'm running a NA B16 and I'm trying to squeeze as much out of it as I can but I want it to be reliable as it's my daily driver. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all

If you want to maintain reliability get a set of CTR cams or Skunk 2 stage one cams. If you put in anything higher than a Stage 1 cam you will have to modify your springs and retainers to maintain reliableity.
i am under the impression that adding more agressive cams on a stock compression b16/b17 won't do much. is that true? my b17a is 9.5:1 (i believe) and I'd love to throw some ek9 cams in, but don't want to waste my money. i'm eventually going turbo, but i'd like a little extra all motor power for now.

not true, it will due a lot just make sure to get springs and retainers to go with the more agressive cams. i have ran both crower and skunk 2 stage 3 in stock b16's and b20 vtecs. they make crazy power over stock.
