Well as far as the wood goes I doubt it...I don't know why you would want wood.... second I can pull all of them out if I want to the guages are removable.
As far as looking at them its only my oil pressure gauge in their and boost controller....the controller seldom is touched and the oil gauge is just one I had and felt like putting in their....You can put I believe about 5gauges in their total or whatever other designs you'd like. I think the cost would be like 15-20$....materials are a little much but thats not a bad price.

theres absolutely nothing wrong with using wood. just use some 1/2" plywood or something, take 5 mins on a scroll saw to cut the holes, then put carpet on top and it will look the same and perform the same. i'm not saying that metal is bad either, but wood is an option.
that looks really nice - great work on making it look clean

If you want man I can get him to make you aplate for the take and room for other gauges....I can always havem recut mine for expansion but I can havem precut some for you......yah I had a big tach but i went back to just using factory one I hate those big nastythings...
Thnx for the compliments Keebler.....Yah wood wouldn't be bad but I dont have the tools and I dont think CNC machines take well to wood
This is actually easier for me

You don't even need metal. My tuner does setups like that in glove boxes all day long. You can use a thin piece of strong plastic, looks exactly the same. You won't need a CNC machine cause you can use a dremel on plastic. Much easier.
